My name is Samuel Harowitz and I am a graduate fellow at the American Film Institute in Hollywood CA. A group of my peers and I are looking making a short film the weekend of March 29th - April 1st. We are looking for a location for this film in the greater Los Angeles area. We are looking for a simple home built in the 1950's - 1970's with a pool and garden, preferably something designed by Joseph Eichler , Cliff May, Garrett Eckbo, Gregory Ain, or one of their contemporaries. We have been studying the work off these architects and are very much interested in setting our film in a iconoclastic mid century American home. We are an ambitious, creative, responsible and extremely experienced team of student filmmakers who are working on a small budget and are willing to work around your schedule. Any help, which you could offer us in finding something like this we would greatly appreciated. Please feel free to contact me via email at [email protected] or phone at (415) 577-6064. Thanks

Hi guys,

While you will find some Southern California folks on this board, I would guess that most are from Northern California and a few are from elsewhere in the country. You might improve your odds for a LA-area Eichler by posting to the cyber-cafe on the following Eichler web board:

Good luck.
