Foundation problems, ISO recommendations, experiences

In search of recommendations and experiences with foundation work, contractors etc.

We are having problems with the fireplace and surrounding area sinking and twisting the house frame.  Bedroom side of the house is sinking or the center of the house being pushed up, depending on whom I've talked to.  We do not have any water leaks, domestic water, sewer or radiant heating.  Wires in the conduit to the kitchen have shorted.
