Hello All,

I'm curious to know if there are any Usonian style homeowners out there. We recently purchased (8 months ago now) a 1951 Usonian on the SF Peninsula and have been dealing with fixing the damage of 12+ years of neglect. Records on the house are non-existent (the city has nothing) and Taliesin has no records of FLW nor student building at our locale. I have heard in the 50's that FLW permitted "others" to build his Usonian design like a kit house, so I'm not ruling that out as a possiblity.

If there’s anyone out there with a similar sounding home then I’d love to hear your thoughts on restoration and preservation. If anyone knows of any resources for locating plans beyond city records, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
