Eichler Bricks and More

We've got a Claude Oakland courtyard model in Sunnyvale- the one with the brick wall that encloses the courtyard. We're doing a landscaping project and we'd like to trim out some of the landscaping features with the same 16"x 3.5" bricks that are used in the original wall. The problem is our contractor has never seen anything like them and has no idea where to get them. Does anyone know of a source for these non-standard sized bricks?

Also, we'd like to tear out the existing smooth concrete walkway from the outside entrace to the actual house front door and replace it with some nicer aggregate. Does anyone have any idea if this walkway is tied in to the slab foundation of the house? I'd hate to have guys start jackhammering only to find we're jackhammering our foundation.
