The San Mateo Highlands Eichler Home Tour of 2014 doesn't take place until May 3 and 4, which still seems ages away, but while eager attendees are already buying tickets, those looking to commemorate the event with a special limited-edition poster will want to hurry up and put their orders in for those as well.

The posters, made by artist and Eichler enthusiast Brooke Dean, are available through the website for $25 each as part of a limited run of 300, organizer Linda Siguenza said. As of last count (last week) some 60 had been sold, but Siguenza said she expected them to go fast as marketing for the event ramps up in the coming weeks. "They're going quickly, even since last week." Tickets are also available through the website, where Siguenza said she expected them to eventually sell out, Saturday first.

The event, meanwhile, of which the Eichler Network is a sponsor (along with Network members Klopf Architecture and Keycon Construction and Design), promises a rewarding weekend of architecture and culture, with tours of original and remodeled homes, a vintage Airstream trailer, the chance to meet numerous MCM artists, and plenty more.
