I'm interested in having a fence built using corrugated metal roofing or corrugated architectural panels. Can any of you recommend someone who could do this or a source where I can get higher quality panels than what's available at Home Depot? (I hate Home Depot.)
You can get just about any past metal panel style from MetalBuildingCompany dot com. in Oakland. When we foam metal roofed buildings, we often need to find some replacement panels that match the existing. They are the best source around, and actually make old configurations weekly. You should be able to find something much more heavy and attractive than you are now considering.
If your neighbors hate your fence, please don't tell them that I told you where to get the panels. Just remind them that it's still a free country, or that you thought it was.
Add that if the neighbor doesn't like this look, that side can be regular fence boards.
Build a "regular" fence and line your side with this corrugated material.
One time I found pictures of an Eichler which had been rebuilt after a fire. They used the corrugated Metal as a fencing material.
I tried to find the link, maybe someone else can post the link???
Raphael Soriano's prefab Eichler in Palo Alto in 1955 had a nice fence that used corrugated metal and plastic. You may want to look at galvanized aluminum too.
