We are remodeling the bathrooms and need to install bathroom venting fan. Do I need to get the vertical fan for the Eichler House? or regualr one like Panasonic ones are okey for Eichler houses? Our roof is Foam roof. Thanks for the help.

We just installed a Panasonic fan/heat/light combo and Sean Smith of Smith Electric who cut a hole in the foam roof and built a box to house the fan properly. If by vertical fan you mean wall mounted, we thought we would have to go that route but as it turns out we were able to go with a ceiling mounted model. We even kept our foam roof warranty in place by calling our roofer to inspect the workmanship of the electrcian and to extend their warranty on the electrician's work, even though the electrician says he stands behind his work too. So when rainy season arrives, we should be covered that if a problem does arrise that it will be addressed professionally. With the heater feature, we had to run a dedicated line which added some cost but met city (San Jose) code. That was our recent experience on the topic. Hope it helps.
